Abstract

The article presents the results of studies of polymer samples (PVC) under thermal exposure in a muffle furnace, by measuring color characteristics using a model of color decomposition into RGB components. Under thermal action, chemical and physical changes occur in polymers. The degree of thermal damage depends on the time and temperature of exposure [1].
