Abstract

The results of experimental research of tribotechnical characteristics of cutting tools with different wearresistant coatings during milling treatment of titanium alloys are presented. On the basis of the analysis of the obtained results the positive influence of TiB2 as a part of the combined coating on the wear resistance of the cutting tool is established.
