Abstract

In this work we present the methodology and the characteristics developed for the implementation of the hardware and software for cashier machine keyboard using Braille code, which eventually can be used in automatic cashiers for blind person. We report here the results obtained from each one of the tests performed between the hardware and the software that have been developed in order to be able to execute the operation and coupling among them during the data transfer from serial to the visual interface.
