Abstract

Result about different types of microwave components using magnetostatic surface waves (MSSW) are reported. The waves have been propagated in an epitaxial yitrium iron garnet (YIG) film at GHz frequencies. In a first section, the design and experimental data of delay line oscillators are given. The second section is devoted to a two-port resonator which has been implemented with two periodic etched groove gratings as distributed reflectors for MSSW. The frequency response, the tunability and the Q value are reported.
