Abstract

This paper presents the influence of torque alternating component of pulsation being an aliquant of rotor angular speed on diagnostic frequency components in the induction machine. Motor with electrical and magnetic asymmetry in form of rotor bar fault and dynamic eccentricity was investigated. Comparison of stator current frequency spectra obtained from simulations and measurement in steady state is presented. The analysis results described in the paper aim to show the interaction of characteristic in stator currents features that result from the simultaneous occurrence of mechanical torque disturbances and rotor faults.
