Abstract

This work analyzes the impacts of a photovoltaic generation plant insertion on the voltage level in a real distribution feeder. The modelling was performed using data provided by the utility responsible for the feeder employing the OpenDSS software. Three scenarios were simulated: absence of PV generation on the feeder; presence of the power plant of interest on the feeder; presence of the power plant of interest and alteration in the loads to simulate non-working day loading. The results for a daily simulation show that, considering such scenarios, there is no transgression of the allowed voltage levels at the point of interest analyzed.
