On the Action Mechanism of Patent Forming Competitive Advantage

Abstract

Intellectual property, as represented by patent, is the source of the core competency of enterprises，because patent is not only the resource of enterprise, but also the capability and the knowledge. On the action mechanism of patent forming competitive advantage, the enterprises' patent capability lives in a very important role. The enterprises' patent capability essentially is not only the knowledge of creating, managing, protecting and applying patents, which is formed by enterprises according to the internal and external environments, but also the basis of making, implementing, evaluating and choosing the enterprises' patent strategy.
