Discapacidad e infancias en las tramas de la desigualdad

Abstract

This article proposes to share analytical re昀氀ections on children with disabilities in our continent. It is interesting to approach from four structuring axes that make up the quadrant matrix. The ways in which capitalism, in its mode of neoliberal governmentality, operates in the production of childhood and disability will be thematized in this article. Also, the intertwining between capableism, colonialism and patriarchy in the construction of singular temporalities of childhood. The processes and relations of di昀昀erence in the constitution of childhoods are of interest at the same time as the production of inequalities in the current context. Childhoods interrupted by adult, medicalizing and normative discourses will be questioned together with the recognition of the interpellations that, from the practices of wanting, link a present time to think about childhoods labeled as disabled.
