Abstract

In this work, performance analysis of cooperative diversity networks with selfish protocol over Nakagami-m fading corrupted links is presented. Namely, ergodic and outage capacity for wireless decode-and-forward networks is defined. Linking on the expression for outage probability, the expression for outage capacity is derived. Also, closed-form solution of ergodic capacity with admissible restriction on fading parameter being integer, is presented. The overall analysis gives us insights as to how fade depths across the cooperative paths, number of active users in network, outage threshold or different average signal-to-noise ratio values affect the capacity.
