Abstract

This paper will describe the multimedia solutions designed and developed by ETT S.p.A. for four different clients and will explain the potential of the use of technology in museum and tourist attractions, as well as the variety of solutions available on the market. Starting from a theoretical analysis on the shift from the idea of a collection-oriented museum to that of a visitor-oriented one, we shall illustrate a storytelling approach based on, and using, Immersive Visitor Engagement Technology.
