Abstract

Antenna pointing error has more serious influence on radiometric calibration of SAR. SAR antenna pointing is two-dimensional, including antenna pointing in range and azimuth, and amazon rainforest and ground receiver are utilized to complete antenna pointing calibration respectively. However, the antenna pointing calibration methods of LEO SAR cannot be applied to GEO SAR, and GEO SAR needs to complete systematic error calibration during the antenna pointing calibration process. In this paper, an antenna pointing calibration method for three-dimensional systematic error of GEO SAR is proposed. The three-dimensional systematic error can be calibrated by using ground receiver to receive the beacon beams transmitted by the GEO SAR.
