This is an exploratory-descriptive case study, with the objective of understanding the role of the supplier in the contractor's strategic planning of technology in the public sector. It can be observed that dependence, trust, communication, commitment, and adaptation are present in the relationship between the supplier and the technology taker. These constructions go beyond the limits of technology supply contract and are characterized as a strategic alliance in the partnership between the parties. Abstract
