Abstract

This paper investigates the use of fractional Fourier transform (FrFT)-based Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging for single point target and extended target. The geometry of synthetic aperture radar using FrFT-based OFDM is presented with the developing algorithm to process the raw data to reconstruct the image of the target in the range and in the Azimuth direction.
