The method used in this research is hypothetical deductive with a quantitative approach, the type of study is applied with a quasi-experimental design that allowed determining the effect of the application of the program \"Leaving green footprints\" to a sample experimental and then compare it with a control group with the same initial characteristics. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of the Shapiro-Wilk normality test indicated that the data tend to a normal distribution, therefore the student's T test was used, resulting in the application of the program \"Leaving green footprints\" significantly strengthens the level of environmental awareness in 3rd year high school students of an I.E of the Ugel 01 SJM 2021. Since before the application of the program it was 20.7% and after the application of the program it went to 82.8%, noting an increase in environmental awareness of 3rd grade students.
