Abstract
The normative documents on the use of forests in the field of hunting for almost 30 years are presented and analyzed. The features of the conclusion of lease agreements for this type of forest use are established, real indicators of the number of leased plots and their area are given, the reasons for the decrease in the leased area are identified and its current composition is shown.
