Abstract

The paper makes a comparison between two types of automatic control systems for the opening of the exhaust nozzle as objects subject to automatic control, under the conditions of their use on various types of jet engines for aircraft. Mathematical models of these nozzles are issued and some possible control schemes are described; Matlab-Simulink simulations are performed concerning object(s) step responses for throttle’s step input. Some conclusions are drawn and some comments concerning the properties and the quality of the studied systems were also presented.
