The results show that the field of financial technology has roughly experienced 27 years of research process, which can be divided into initial embryonic stage, steady development stage and rapid development stage. Among them, from 2013, the literature in the field has shown a trend of rapid growth. The United States and the University of London are the countries and organizations with the largest number of papers published in this field, respectively. Ticknor's papers are cited the most, and fintech is the highest frequency co-occurrence keyword. At the same time, the study also found that financial technology as a keyword first appeared in 2006.
