This study explores how parents perceive and accept the tutoring education by drawing on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). It proposed a model illustrating how parents of junior high school students are affected from attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior control and perceived public education policy changed. An online survey was implemented in Taiwan to collect data and PLS-SEM was used to check the validated data and analysis the model. The results contribute that the four independent variables, "attitude toward behavior", "subjective norm", "perceived behavior control", and "perceived public education policy change", can promote the parents’ behavioral intention to accept tutoring educations. Tutoring industries are suggested to employ corresponding business strategy to effectively manage customer’s intention and relationship.

From a global perspective, the Bay Area economy formed on this basis leads the development of global economy and science and technology. Nighttime cultural tourism has become a trend in China, however, there are indeed prominent limiting factors to develop it for some cities, especially in the case of Hohhot. This study adopts an empirical research method and finds low temperature at night especially in winter, unfamiliar region for people and relative low consumption level of residents are prominent limiting factors of Hohhot’s nighttime cultural tourism development. It shows that limiting factors are not determinants to develop nighttime cultural tourism in Hohhot, which is based on theoretical tools about cultural industry and tourism. In fact, Hohhot has much potential to develop the nighttime cultural tourism through circumvention of outdoor activities in low temperature’s days, making people aware of favorable conditions of traffic and making full sense of local consumers. Meanwhile, this study is to provide ideas of developing nighttime cultural tourism to cities existing general problems as Hohhot.

Teaching process of numerical analysis for non-mathematics graduate students shows some characteristics and problems. In consequence, authors analyze and study the teaching process from their teaching experience in the past three years. They present some teaching methods and models which are able to improve the quality of teaching effectively. The methods use an online-to-offline hybrid model to solve conflict between less course time and more content, and difference cognitively among students. By applying numerical analysis approaches in mathematical modeling, these teaching methods stress importance of numerical analysis to students. As result, the presented teaching methods achieve the aims of stimulating the initiative of students and enhancing the quality of teaching.

One of the key issues for effective English learning is to make students easily read and speak in English. Although most college students can pass the testing of English writing and/or reading in Taiwan, they still fail or afraid to speak in English. The Kenyon and Knott phonetic transcription, KK phonetic transcription, is wildly applied as the basic learning tool for most students in Taiwan. This research is aimed to improve the learning effectiveness by firstly developing a set of easy-understanding learning guide about phonetic and phonic rules, and followed by the motivational strategy of action learning that outreach the course learning to their families or friends to learn KK phonetic symbols. The process of this research was divided into 4 cycles of planning, implementing the efficient textbook learning and ask students to teach their families or friends, observations of the students’ teaching materials and their teaching process by video, and students’ share and reflection. The results show that motivational strategies of asking students to teach the KK Phonetic Transcription to someone that is close to them do have positive effects in improving the confidence of speaking English.

Edge computing transfers computing tasks from centralized management to the edge of the network, providing services nearby, reducing the amount of data transmission and ensuring data security. In order to study and apply edge computing system, this paper mainly discusses the background and current situation of edge computing. It introduces several typical edge computing systems, and compares them in the aspects of system characteristics, application fields and limitations, so as to help users understand edge computing system.
