Abstract

The paper compares results on an event model-based PID control of a real thermal process model. The model based PID control is based on a state observer in the sensor and a model of the process in the controller. The model synthesis procedure is one of the problems in the method. Three methods of model identification and synthesis are presented, the least squares method, the method based on moments of the process and the special moment method based on linear combination of two models.
