The impact caused by less consumption of vegetables and fruit is a degenerative disease. Low knowledge of nutrition is one of the causes of the lack of fruit and vegetable consumption. As a result, people cannot apply balanced nutrition in their daily life. One way to improve nutrition knowledge is nutrition education with Instagram media. Objectives; to determine the difference in the average score before and after the intervention of nutrition knowledge about vegetables and fruit was given to the students of Senior High Scool Malnu Central Menes Banten via Instagram. Methods; This research is a Quasi-Experimental Design research. The research sample was 66 students using purposive sampling technique and divided into Instagram intervention group and Power point intervention group. The number of samples for each group is 33 students. Data analysis was obtained from the results of the pre-post-test questionnaire which was processed using the Wilcoxon test and the Mann-Whitney test. Results: Wilcoxon test showed a significant difference in knowledge between before and after being given education about vegetables and fruits in both groups with p = 0.00 (< 0.05). The results of the Mann-Whitney test showed that there was a difference in the average score between the two groups, the value of p = 0.00 (p <0.05). Conclusion; Nutrition education related to vegetables and fruit using Instagram media is more influential in increasing knowledge.
