Abstract
The authors of the paper propose a mechanism to manage the development of electric power sector of the Russian Federation and its regions which is represented as a system of formulation, adoption and implementation of strategic decisions which enables to solve the problem of non-coordination of schemes and programs of development at different levels with the consideration of renewable electric power development.
