Abstract
Significant numbers of adolescents use Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for learning, communication, and socialization. The study examines the literature about the digital citizenship conceptualization on adolescence. The literature review method was developed. Based on the results, we suggest that the main dimensions of digital citizenship in adolescence were identity, self-protection, participation, fluidity, and ethics. These findings emphasize that digital citizenship is a complex competence.
