We found these online resources to be an effective way to reach and engage a large number of undergraduate students who are accustomed to obtaining information on the web. Abstract

Engaging students in research is a high-impact practice shown to increase graduation outcomes and sustain their pursuit of careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). However, research opportunities for students early in their undergraduate studies are not widely available at most colleges or for most students.
