A clear understanding of the further tactics and strategy for managing girls with metabolic syndrome who are threatened by the de-velopment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), the need for an interdisciplinary approach with close cooperation between the endocrinologist, the gynecologist and the pediatric physician are the important factors for the successful implementation of reproductive function in the future.
