Abstract

CAI(Comprehensive air-quality index) is a value developed to minimize and prevent damage from air pollution. It takes into account the levels of six air pollutants and expresses them in four levels and colors. “Good” is blue, “normal” is green, “poor” is yellow, and “very poor” is red. This paper proposes using IoT lighting control to indicate air quality. Furthermore, it provides information on the CAI of all areas in Seoul through a webpage. IoT lights are installed on window frames or entrances to enable the implementation of action guidelines suggested by the Ministry of Environment.
