Abstract
The growing importance of international relations and cultural diversity requires future specialists to possess not only linguistic, but also sociocultural knowledge and skills. Therefore, there is a need to find new approaches, in particular, the use of project technologies that can contribute to more effective formation of sociolinguistic competence. The article is devoted to the study of the process of formation of sociolinguistic competence of future specialists in the field of intercultural communication with the use of project technologies. We emphasize the importance of sociolinguistic competence for successful interaction and understanding in an intercultural environment. The article analyzes the main aspects of project technologies that can be used to develop students' sociolinguistic competence. Examples of successful implementation of project methods, such as group projects, role-playing games and interactive exercises, which allow students to improve their sociolinguistic skills, are considered. The article also draws attention to the use of modern information technologies, such as virtual classrooms, web conferences and online materials, as an effective way of expanding the boundaries of intercultural communication. Therefore, the work contains recommendations on the use of project technologies in the educational process to increase the level of sociolinguistic competence of future specialists. The results of the analysis indicate the importance of the implementation of project technologies in the training of intercultural communication, as they contribute to the development of key skills and knowledge necessary for effective communication in the modern world. The integration of these methods into the curriculum and the creation of a stimulating learning environment contribute to the expansion of opportunities for the development of students' sociolinguistic competence and their successful implementation in the future professional context of intercultural communication.
