MethodThis qualitative research study employed a qualitative content analysis as the design of the research. The data from the film were selected, collected and analyzed using representation theory by Stuart Hall and feminism approach.Results/FindingsThe result showed that Moxie represented patriarchy in school by portraying female objectification, represive school regulation against female, patriarchy in student's reading material, male's achievement glorification, and supporting attitue towards patriarchal practices.
