Results indicate the important of preserving local heritage and culture, which can provide valuable insights into the country's history and traditions. It can be concluded that photography is an innovative, effective, and cost-effective platform for preserving and promoting the art of kelarai weaving in Malaysia. Overall, photography contributes to preserve and promote traditional crafts and customs. Empirical evidence states that photography is an effective method of preserving Malay heritage. Abstract

The art of kelarai weaving is a local community heritage in Malaysia that has been passed down from generation to generation.
