Integrative and Complementary Health Practices aim to prevent, rehabilitate and promote health. Methodology: An exploratory research was carried out with a qualitative approach of a descriptive nature and a field survey design with 7 nurses working in basic health units in the city of Vitória- Espírito Santo, with the aim of reporting the view of nurses who use of Integrative and Complementary Practices in Health. Data were collected using a semi-structured questionnaire and analyzed using Bardin analysis. Results: The most frequent training was through the public network, the most used Integrative and Complementary Practices in Health was Phytotherapy, in which through the analysis the cores of meanings about the nurses' experience emerged, which triggered issues of extreme relevance. Conclusion: There is a clear need to make numerous improvements within the Unified Health System and municipal management so that Integrative and Complementary Health Practices are implemented in a broad and efficient manner in health services.
