In the last seven and a half decades of independence, this sector has seen its share of ups and downs and managed to weather many challenges. Two most challenging areas has always been the rise in population and consequently unemployment. The purpose of this article is to provide readers with a better understanding of the SSI industry by outlining its features, difficulties, and possibilities for development and improvement.
