Abstract

Oxidative stress is associated with the development of many diseases, such as chronic inflammation, cardiovascular disease and cancer. Antioxidants can scavenge free radicals in the body, reduce the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and effectively prevent oxidative stress. Polysaccharide is a antioxidants that widely found in natural resources, which is a kind of high molecular polymer with antioxidant activity. It can prevent oxidative stress and play a role in disease prevention through various mechanisms.
