This research uses the TAM and UTAUT methods. The aim of this research is to find out which method is better in accepting and deciding on the application of information systems. The results of the research show that the UTAUT method is better able to explain better than the TAM method in comparing the implementation of academic administration information systems where by using the TAM method the R-square value obtained for the TAM IT Acceptance variable is 78.2%, which is a value included in the model category. strong and the User Satisfaction variable has an R-square value of 65.3%, where this value is still included in the strong category. Meanwhile, in the UTAUT R-square method for the IT Acceptance variable, it is 83.6%, which is in the strong model category.
