NAMES OF INTERFACE ELEMENTS AS A REFLECTION OF THE REALITIES OF INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION ON THE INTERNET

Abstract

For the research of the lexical-semantic field “Interpersonal communication on the Internet” the study of the vocabulary associated with the names of the interface elements of Internet platforms becomes relevant. However, this linguistic material has not yet become the object of detailed linguistic analysis. The study of this vocabulary is hampered by the dynamic development of Internet communication platforms. In this article the names of the interface elements of Internet platforms are considered as a reflection of the realities of interpersonal communication. The studied lexical material is classified, structured and tabulated.
