The child and adolescent life experience survey shows that 1 in 11 girls experience sexual violence. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between parents' knowledge and attitudes towards the behavior of providing sexual health education to elementary school children in Padang city. This study used a quantitative design with a cross sectional approach. A total of 62 respondents were taken by cluster random sampling, which was collected by interview. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate, the test used is chi square. The results showed that 69% of parents did not provide sexual education to their children. There are 2 variables associated with the behavior of providing sexual health education, namely knowledge (0.024) and attitude (0.043). Parents need to provide sexual education to children will affect the behavior of parents in providing sex education or not to their children. Solid integration between education and health agencies, to increase the understanding of parents and teachers regarding the importance of providing sexual health education in elementary school-age children.
