DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF CITIES IN THE POST-PANDEMIC PERIOD

Abstract

В статье авторы раскрывают роль, значение и важность цифровой трансформации городов в постпандемический период. Авторы отметили, что города Казахстана, как и их мировые коллеги, испытали на себе глубокие последствия пандемии, что требует переоценки парадигм городского развития. Авторы использовали комбинированную методологию, в основе которой лежит сбор данных из вторичных источников. В статье проводится анализ существующей литературы, правительственных отчетов, политических документов и отраслевых публикаций, с целью сбора соответствующих данных и идей о цифровой трансформации городов в Казахстане. Авторы провели исследование цифровой трансформации в этом контексте, которое имеет решающее значение для понимания того, как города Казахстана могут использовать цифровые технологии для эффективной навигации в постпандемическом ландшафте. Выводы авторов, полученные в результате проведенного исследования, призваны внести свой вклад в растущий объем знаний о цифровой трансформации городов и предложить прагматичные стратегии для городов в Казахстане и за его пределами. В статье отмечается, что стремление к цифровому урбанизму является неотъемлемой частью повестки дня городского развития, подчеркивая необходимость использования цифровизации как фактора городского развития и устойчивости. Это исследование подчеркивает важность понимания и преодоления сложностей цифровой трансформации в создании устойчивых, инклюзивных и интеллектуальных городов в постпандемическом мире. In the article, the authors reveal the role, significance and importance of digital transformation of cities in the post-pandemic period. The authors noted that the cities of Kazakhstan, like their global counterparts, have experienced the profound consequences of the pandemic, which requires a reassessment of the paradigms of urban development. The authors used a combined methodology based on the collection of data from secondary sources. The article analyzes the existing literature, government reports, policy documents and industry publications in order to collect relevant data and ideas about the digital transformation of cities in Kazakhstan. The authors conducted a study of digital transformation in this context, which is crucial for understanding how cities in Kazakhstan can use digital technologies for effective navigation in the post-pandemic landscape. The authors' conclusions obtained as a result of the conducted research are intended to contribute to the growing body of knowledge about the digital transformation of cities and offer pragmatic strategies for cities in Kazakhstan and beyond. The article notes that the pursuit of digital urbanism is an integral part of the urban development agenda, emphasizing the need to use digitalization as a factor of urban development and sustainability. This study highlights the importance of understanding and overcoming the complexities of digital transformation in creating sustainable, inclusive and intelligent cities in a post-pandemic world.
