An assessment is made of the positive effect of the proposed integration, which is expressed in a reduction in weight and size and labor intensity during maintenance. Structural modeling of an integrated starter–generator is performed with an assessment of the temperature indicators determined in the generator elements during its operation. Abstract
The possibility of combining the starter and generator functions in a single device and its integration directly into a gas-turbine engine is considered.
