Abstract

An aircraft electric-generator design and method of cooling it are considered that allow one to increase the cooling intensity, reduce or eliminate the pumping of refrigerant, and, ultimately, increase the generator’s energy efficiency and reduce weight or increase the load. It has been established that the level of achieved efficiency depends mainly on the Seebeck and Peltier coefficients of semiconductor materials for converters and the ability to choose the location of thermoelements on the engine with the maximum temperature difference.
