Based on a comparison between them and the devices that work on the fundamental resonances, both the advantages and disadvantages of the harmonic gyrotrons are critically examined. Abstract
In this paper we present a comprehensive overview of the theoretical and experimental studies on gyrotrons operating at harmonics of the electron cyclotron frequency.
