Today’s society needs personalities, both as educators and as learners, capable of rapid and flexible change in their lifestyle, and requires a rethinking of the educational paradigm, moving away from established adaptive-disciplinary models of learning in favour of scalable and personalised learning. The purpose of the study was to investigate the concept of “research culture” in relation to students of pedagogical specialities and to formulate basic requirements that contribute to the development of a research culture. METHOD. The methodological basis of the study lies in the general integrative philosophical-systemic approach, which is based on the provision on the universal connection of phenomena and the search for integral characteristics of the phenomena under study. RESULTS. During the study of the topic, the criteria and conditions for the formation of a research culture among future teachers-educators in higher education institutions were characterised. The study also resulted in the development of a structural and content model for shaping the research culture of higher education students, based on the identified characteristics and regularities. Furthermore, key ideas and recommendations for developing a research culture among future educators were formulated. DISCUSSION. The practical significance of the study is determined by the fact that the developed model for shaping a research culture can be applied during the training of pedagogical specialities.","PeriodicalId":512259,"journal":{"name":"Bordón. Abstract

INTRODUCTION. Today’s society needs personalities, both as educators and as learners, capable of rapid and flexible change in their lifestyle, and requires a rethinking of the educational paradigm, moving away from established adaptive-disciplinary models of learning in favour of scalable and personalised learning.
