Abstract

A collection of futuristic fairy tales is a medium that offers a unique reading experience, by combining elements of science fiction and future technological developments in the stories. This research aims to identify and analyze the character education values contained in a collection of futuristic fairy tales. The research method used is text analysis of a collection of selected futuristic fairy tales with a research focus on the educational value of characters in futuristic fairy tales. The research results show that the collection of futuristic fairy tales can convey character values such as kindness, compassion, hard work, willingness to sacrifice, and creativity. leadership and adaptability in the context of an ever-changing future. These stories often explore moral challenges relevant to developments in technology and science. This research also reveals that futuristic fairy tales can be an effective tool in character education because they allow readers to reflect on the moral implications of technological advances and future situations that have not yet occurred. This research has important implications for developing character literacy in education, as well as in understanding the role of creativity and imagination in the formation of character values.
