Meaningful manifestations of types of sensitivity to humans among students of psychological and pedagogical areas of training

Abstract

Sensitivity to another person is one of the most important personal and professional competencies of students of psychological and pedagogical areas of training. During the empirical study it has been established that along with a sensitive type (where all components of sensitivity appear at a high level), more often than others, students of psychological and pedagogical areas of training have an emotional-altruistic type, which indicates an insufficient development of interest in another and understanding a person, as well as an intuitive type that is associated with difficulties in understanding the inner world of another. In addition, an insensitive type often manifests itself, representatives of which demonstrate an insufficient level of formation of all components of sensitivity to humans. The results obtained can be used in organizing educational work at the university, as well as in the process of developing special programs to form sensitivity to another person among future teachers and psychologists.
