SAHTE SİGORTALILIK SORUNU VE FİNANSAL SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİRLİK: TÜRKİYE SOSYAL GÜVENLİK SİSTEMİ ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Social security fraud is a multidimensional and complex problem that affects the sustainability of social security systems and social justice. Nowadays, the most common form of social security fraud is fraudulently insured. The aim of this research is to explain the problem of fraudulently insured in its legal, economic, and social aspects and to make solutions for the sustainability of the social security system in Turkiye. This research is a descriptive study conducted in a qualitative, case study design. Research data were collected through document analysis, and meta-inferences were made through descriptive analysis. The results show that it is possible to solve the problem of fraudulently insured and ensure the sustainability of the Turkish social security system with regulations to be made in the primary legislation, public policies and practices that raise awareness for insured persons, automation regulations, and more supervision.
