Where this is one of the aspects in which the field of Education uses real-time or remote communication to structure issues epistemologically and which is quite evident, nowadays, due to distance education - EAD. The proposal is to survey the meaning of the central objective of the article, which is to consider what are the conceptions and applications of effectiveness to the meaning of MTE, in order to clarify the purpose of understanding based on historical, epistemological analysis and pragmatic nuances regarding uses currents of expression in the fields where it occurs, there is justification in discussing an approach to the concepts, conceptions and applications of effectiveness and obtaining a level of understanding about MTE. Abstract
