Abstract

Wireless power transmission systems based on the principle of magnetic induction are a promising technology for the design of chargers. A mathematical description of the wireless power transmission process in accordance with the IEC 61980 standard is given. To study the electromagnetic properties of a wireless power transmission system, a finite element model of the system has been developed that allows estimating the values of self- and mutual inductance when operating at different frequencies. The parameters obtained during the simulation were used to construct a system of differential equations describing a system of coupled coils based on circuit theory. On the basis of these equations, the transfer function of coils was obtained, which makes it possible to evaluate their frequency, energy and dynamic properties.
