Since 2007, a significant increase in the number of publications on the relationship between education and tourism has been observed. This increase suggests a growing interest and attention in this field of study over time. Abstract

This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to examine the temporal evolution of publications on the relationship between education and tourism, as well as to identify the main authors, institutions and countries that have led research in this field. Through a meticulous examination of 968 articles retrieved from the Web of Science database between 1950 and 2021, a detailed picture of the development of research in this area has been revealed.
