Through a meticulous examination of 968 articles retrieved from the Web of Science database between 1950 and 2021, a detailed picture of the development of research in this area has been revealed. The findings provide valuable information on the temporal and geographical distribution of publications, as well as on the key actors in the field of research on the relationship between education and tourism. Since 2007, a significant increase in the number of publications on the relationship between education and tourism has been observed. This increase suggests a growing interest and attention in this field of study over time. Abstract
