Abstract

A study of torque pulsations in electrical machines with fractional slot windings and permanent magnets has been carried out. The design of a magnetic system with the arrangement of permanent magnets on the cylindrical surface of the rotor is considered. The analysis was carried out using the harmonic components method. The formation of torque is considered during the interaction of harmonics of the magnetomotive force created by fractional slot windings and harmonics of the magnetomotive excitation force generated by permanent magnets with constant and variable equivalent magnetic conductivity. Analytical expressions describing the occurrence of torque pulsations are obtained.
