The content of transformations in this area should be linked to ensuring and comprehensively strengthening Ukraine's sovereignty and preserving its territorial integrity. The current situation in the world is characterized by the presence of “points of tension”, the desire of other states to implement their geopolitical plans and unresolved social problems. In addition, the state is the main institution that creates appropriate conditions for the functioning of each business entity. In Ukraine, there is a need to define the benchmarks of the security system, study international experience and implement it in the process of improving national security legislation.
