Abstract
Pleradenophora membranifolia (Müll. Arg.) Esser & A.L. Melo (Euphorbiaceae) was previously only known from central South America (Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru). Our new botanical collections from the seasonal dry forests in Garachiné, Darién Province, Panama increase the distribution of this species to Central America and include the first record of this genus for the country.
