Abstract
This study attempted to delve into one of the most important topics in the scientific and sports arenas. The subject concerns a sensitive group in society, particularly students in general, and middle school students in particular. The study aimed to address an educational aspect related to school sports and how their performance is affected by psychological changes and reactions, such as cognitive and physical anxiety during sports competitions. The focus was on basketball specialisation in inter-school sports league competitions.
