The voltage generated by the frequency converter may not meet standards, which requires special attention when developing motors designed for use with such converters. Abstract
In electric motor control systems, higher harmonics are often present in the voltage generated by frequency converters, which can cause losses in an electric machine and, ultimately, lead to its overheating.
